Charlton Athletic Community Trust's (CACT) Post 16 Football and Education Academy is aimed at boys and girls aged 16-19 who are interested in combining their education with the life of a professional footballer. CACT invite interested students in Year 11 to attend one of two open evenings at Ashford Utd FC (bar upstairs), to understand and discuss further the correct pathway for your further education.  CACT deliver a Level 2 in Sport (one year) and a Level 3 in Sport (two years) over a full time education and football development programme, delivered in partnership with our education provider SCL based at Ashford United FC The programme competes within a competitive league and offer exit routes into professional and semi professional football, as well as educational opportunities into university, American sports scholarships and employment or apprenticeship opportunities.
