Take your game to the next level with our Advanced Football Holiday Course, exclusively designed for players aged 9-16 years who are looking to develop their technical ability, tactical understanding and overall performance in a professional football environment.

Delivered at the Charlton Athletic Training Ground, participants will have the unique opportunity to train on the same academy pitches used by Charlton Athletic's Academy players. Sessions are led by experienced FA-qualified Charlton Athletic Community Trust coaches, providing players with challenging, high-quality coaching designed to support individual development and maximise performance.

Throughout the course, players will take part in position-specific practices, technical drills, tactical game-related sessions, small-sided games and match play. The programme focuses on developing the key attributes required to progress within the game, including decision-making, game intelligence, ball mastery, finishing, defending and attacking principles.

This course is ideal for players currently participating in grassroots football at Advanced Centres, Development Centres, JPL teams, KYL teams or those looking to experience an academy-style training environment during the school holidays.

Players who demonstrate exceptional ability, attitude and potential throughout the course may be identified by our coaching staff and invited to attend the Charlton Athletic Community Trust Advanced Centre. The Advanced Centre forms part of the club's wider player development pathway, providing talented young players with additional training opportunities and ongoing support to help them fulfil their potential. While attendance at the course does not guarantee progression, it provides coaches with an opportunity to observe players within a high-quality training environment.
