Squad Girls is for girls aged 11-16 years old and delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaches. The programme is designed to have a structured and progressive pathway to develop core football skills and creates maximum enjoyment and involvement to help teenage female footballers realise their full potential. This is the perfect session if you are a complete beginner, you have previously attended Wildcats, or are just looking to get back into playing football.

The Programme lasts for 13 weeks and concentrates on the games four essential skills: dribbling, passing, control and shooting. In addition to this the sessions will focus on improving the key principles of play for attacking: penetrate, creative, movement, support and space and defending: delay, press, patience, cover, compact and balance.  

Players that attend and showcase their talent, could be invited to the Girls Development Centre. The onward progression following your journey with the Squad Girls Programme – is to be offered a place on our Post 16 football and education programme. A full time fully funded programme with excellent pathways and opportunities.
